Confused by Tulsa schools, don’t kids go to the school based on where your house is located?

I saw in another post someone worried about their kid getting into Booker Washington. If they live within that districts boundaries wouldn’t their kid just go there? I’m considering a move to Tulsa, if I live in Midtown wouldn’t my daughter automatically go to Edison?

If I look at houses on realtor.com it shows that school as assigned for example
