I don't get Frankie haters

I'm sorry, but Frankie haters irk me the wrong way. She's an extremely hard working woman, always dedicated to her family, always down to help her kids, and very understanding with Mike (whom I like as a character but could never have as a husband). The family is constantly dumping on her, teasing her, joking about her looks, hobbies and cooking. I understand she can be too much sometimes, but I totally agree with what she says in one episode about her complimenting Mike's stoicism. Without Frankie, the kids wouldn't be able to express themselves or think outside of the box. She passed on her imagination, positive attitude and open mindedness. She can be overbearing sometimes, but she's definitely not that overbearing overall, at least in my opinion. She wants to trust the kids and she wants them to prove their maturity, but many times it's them who fail (like when Brick is left alone at home that first time). And every time she voices her fear of them leaving the nest, it's because she's convinced they won't return home because she doesn't feel like they care enough about her. I come from a very disfunctional family so this might be my own yearning for a mom like her speaking, but I hate to read all this criticism on her both as a person and as a mom. She carries the whole family on her back and nobody barely ever helps, specially on the first seasons. Rant aside, she's also hilarious; I've come to love Patricia's deliveries and she particularly grew on me on the last seasons.
