Might stop taking prog

After starting estrogen in February I lost my libido almost completely. This wasn’t good for my girlfriend of three years as she wanted MORE physical intimacy and so did I. I started progesterone about four months ago and really felt the girl horny after a month on it.

The problem is once I got my libido back, my girlfriend lost all interest in sex. She is pansexual but has only been with cis men, and one cis woman who was kind of butch. She assured me that she loved me and is still attracted to me even if I am more feminine. I believe her and I have never sensed that she is put off by me and my gender expression but the fact still remains that any advances I make are shut down.

I keep trying to talk to her about it but she kind of brushes off the subject. I even offer to open the relationship if she really needs someone more masculine in her life as well but she is not interested in an open relationship at all.

At this point I’d rather not be horny anymore if I am going to be constantly let down, as well as the side effect of the prog making me much more emotional, it’s just making everything way harder.

Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to get this all off my chest.
