Can I use cpu_opt instead of fan_pump?

I have an aorus x870 elite WiFi7 and an msi mag Coreliquid A15. I have the radiator fans plugged into the cpu_fan, but for some reason the fan pump header is all the way at the bottom of the motherboard and the cable can’t clear the gpu. Can I use cpu_opt instead of the fan pump or sys_pump?
