Bands in the similar position as Seven Spires?
Disclaimer: This is a repost I made on r/symphonicmetal, but I got no satisfactory responses, so I hoped I'll get better responses in a bigger community not limited to one subgenre.
I'm not sure if it's not against the rules, but this time, I'm not necessarily looking for symphonic band. But a metal band of any subgenre (be it symphonic or power, or death, or black, or prog, or thrash or even alternative) that's in similar position to that of Seven Spires.
By which I mean, a band that is young, but full of very talented, extremely passionate musicians but also very overlooked and deserve to be more famous.
I love Seven Spires, mostly for Adrienne's huge range, as well as the versatility of their music overall and the guys' overall advanced skills, even though they're still really young. That's related to the fact that they graduated a prestigious music college and it's fairly obvious.
But at there are instances at times, when I play their music and for some reason, it doesn't excite me. They're not the only favorite band of mine it concerns, but when it happens to me, I get an annoying thought that maybe I don't like the band's music as much as I think I do and I enjoy it mostly just because it's so recommended/overhyped.
So I'm curious about some bands in similar position, to hear for myself how I'd like them without any hype involved. Please, if you have some obscure band to recommend, describe it superficially. Mention the style, age... and maybe compare it to some more well known band, just so I know what does it roughly sound like.
Edit: I'd like to clarify what I mean by "new bands", so you don't accidentally recommend me some supergroup or someone's side project, which I'm not particularly interested in.
I mean a band whose members are actually young (35 years old at most) and not yet established or very well known. In short, young and gifted, but largely obscure.
