My EV6 was at 42% at 8am this morning and now its completely dead

I've had my ev6 since for 3 years. My husband used it this morning and drove maybe 5 miles and now it's competence dead at 5pm. Is it possible he left the car on for 9 hrs just sitting in a 45-50F° garage and it completely died?

I'm stumped.
