Any advice for where to start out equipment wise for someone dipping their toe into painting and slapchop?

Hobby & Painting

I have a nice desk and chair from an office where I worked when it closed down. I figure I will need white, black, grey, and any other paint colors I want. Probably going to go with Army Painter to start. I am just going to get the colors I need to make the blue horrors box, as well as a good base to build from. That looks like a simple enough place to start, with a bit more to work on than the box of pink horrors.

So I am taking all advice for starter: dry brush sets, nippers, hobby knives, dry brush pallets, regular brushes for edge highlights, details, and eyes. I know I need to pick up green stuff and plastic cement. But how about organizers? Mats? Magnifiers? Other odds and ends around the hobby table that are clutch when starting out on the cheap? and, if there is anything that is a bit pricier but actually worth the money?
