**Bujairami - High Roller (Valentino Born In Roma Extradose)**

Opens fresh and slightly sweet with lavender supported by woods and light spices. As it dries down, the spices ease up and the scent profile remains fairly linear. This is a good take on the OG and is something for a younger guy to wear in a smart casual setting, like a night out, who wants to smell clean and put together.

**Bujairami - Money Talks Extrait (BDC L'Exclusif)**

Money Talks opens with citruses and a splash of mint, with some added zest from the ginger, supported by sweetness and woods in the background. As it dries down, the citruses take a back seat, and a smooth leather starts to come through, along with resins and amber that takes centre stage, with the ginger, citrus, mint and woods in the background, giving the resinous sweetness a touch of freshness and somehow retains a slight aquatic feel. This is very well blended juice. This is something to reserve for a special occasion.

**Gissah - Imperial Valley**

Imperial Valley was quite hyped up so I thought I'd see what all the fuss is about.
It opens with an invigorating citrus and pepper, followed closely by oud, which is a clean oud that just smells like dry woods, and has a fresh take due to the added citrus. As it dries down, the citruses begin to dissipate, and it becomes a sharp woody fresh profile, with a hint of smoky spices, a touch of leather and a faint aromatic accord from the rosemary, giving it a middle eastern vibe, on a fresh woody profile. This would be fine for daytime wear as crazy as it sounds, it just works.

**Subjective Scent Score:**

High Roller - 6.5. Clean, fresh, sweet and playful. Not a bad scent by any means.

Money Talks - 9.0. Dark, yet fresh, mature and sophisticated. This is what Bruce Wayne wears when he's entertaining and not running around wearing MP Falcon Leather in the Batmobile. This one is right up my alley.

Imperial Valley - 5.5. Pretty interesting how they've made oud into a wearable fresh accord for the summer, but it's not something I'd reach for very often, as it still has a bit of sharpness and middle eastern vibe to it.

**Performance:**

High Roller - 6.0. Moderate projection for 1-2 hours before settling into a small scent bubble for another \~2 hours before trailing off to a skin scent. Faintly detectable on skin after 8-10 hours.

Money Talks - 6.0 Low to moderate projection for 2-3 hours before dialling down to a small intimate scent bubble for another 1-2 hours before trailing off to a skin scent. Faintly detectable on skin after 8-10 hours.

Imperial Valley - 9.0. Very strong projection after initial spray which I'd say would be borderline room filling, and I went nose blind straight away. Strong projection for the first 1-2 hours before dialling down to a moderate scent bubble for another 2-3 hours before settling down to a small scent bubble for another 1-2 hours before becoming a skin scent. Faintly detectable on skin after 10-12 hours.

**Blind buy safety score:**

High Roller - 7.5. Very inoffensive, youthful fresh profile that is crowd pleasing and not overbearing.

Money Talks - 6.5 Very well blended and complex. Resinous accord may not be for everyone.

Imperial Valley - 3.5. Not blind buy safe.

**Unisex Score:**

High Roller - 70% masc leaning.

Money Talks - 75% masc leaning.

Imperial Valley - 95% masc leaning.

**Versatility Score:**

High Roller - 5.0. Suitable for cooler weather, night time, date nights and nights out and *maybe* work/office if in the A/C.

Money Talks - 4.5 Suitable for cool weather, night time, date nights and special occasions.

Imperial Valley - 7.0 Suitable for colder or warm weather (probably not extreme heat), day or night, nights out and *maybe* special occasions or date nights if this is your jam.

**Conclusion:**

High Roller was ok, but it doesn't score high enough to justify a bottle.

Money Talks is amazing, but the performance was a bit lackluster for me. I will try this out again in a few months to see if there's any improvements.

Imperial Valley is interesting, but not for me. Glad I tested a decant first.
