Left CP but received pay stub in the negative
Hi all,
I left CP in October to pursue a different job. I’d only worked for 1.5 years. I have recently received a pay stub in the negative. I haven’t worked for about a month, but still receive stubs and this one is at ~ -$1500 (under 1720 - personal day payout, and 1740 - personal day adjustment, and 1920 -vacation pay). It says it will come off my next pay, because I don’t work there anymore and don’t intend to go back I wasn’t super worried. Until I got the paperwork about my CP pension and how to withdraw those funds.
I’m wondering if this negative pay stub will impact my pension plan withdrawal $$ or if the corporation really will try to recuperate that $-1500 from my recent pay stub through that pension withdrawal or in other ways?
Any insight would be so insightful! Thanks!
