I want blue or auburn hair, which should I do first?

I can't make up my mind between blue or brownish-red/auburn. If i dye it auburn, will it be easy to go blue, or would the red in it be difficult to remove? Same with blue, if I do blue first would it be too difficult to go auburn?

Basically, would it be easier to do from auburn to blue, or blue to auburn? I have natural dark brown hair if that helps.

My instinct says auburn first, but im not a hairstylist lol.
