Did I get a bad deal? Switzerland and Italy trip.

Bought round trip tickets for me and my wife to Zurich, Switzerland in June. Total for both of us combined was $2,800 round trip with no layovers or stops. We will take a train from Switzerland to Italy and then fly back from Rome, Italy back to Georgia.

I heard June is prime month to go to Switzerland and Italy. I feel like I got a good deal because I only had 86k delta miles and it wouldn’t let me use my miles and then pay the reminder in cash so I paid full in cash.

Interested to know what are the opinions of this. Did I over pay or did I do decent?
