Ozark Ridge or Marlin 4

Hey guys I’m nearing my first bike purchase soon and am stuck between these two bikes. I’m on a tighter budget and don’t want to go too much higher over $500 if I can help it. I’m 5’10 and am unsure if trek is the better option since they have a ML frame and Ozark just has 17in and 19in. Any advice helps! Also just going to ride light trails and neighborhood roads/bike paths
