Why heaven & hell ?

.) Hell was made for Satan.

.) Humanity was made for eternal life.

.) Sin separated us from God & separates us from eternal life. Sin started with Adam & Eve and that's why we still sin today.

.) Jesus came to restore God’s original intent (number 2). God sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins (to undo number 3). So that if we have faith that Jesus is the Son of God who died for our sins and rise again after 3 days, we will be saved (saved from going to hell).

.) So rejecting Jesus = rejecting eternal life (heaven) and ending up where Satan ends up (hell). Why do you end up in hell ? Because there is nowhere else for your soul to go after you die. You can only go to heaven or hell. So if you reject Jesus you go to hell. And this is why there are no "good people in heaven". Heaven is a place where people who have been forgiven by God go after that had accepted Jesus into their lives.
