get car or uberone sub?

i have to commute 45+ mins (if i walk) to get to work. should i get a car or get an uber one sub?

for context, im starting a job in jan and i have a car i use when im home but i don't keep here since the insurance would go up for my parents. im debating taking full responsibility of the car (insurance, gas, etc because my salary is enough to pay for it) or just get an uber or lyft sub to be driven to work everyday. the thing is idk if having uber one means i'll always get a ride/priority and never be late since im relying on someone else to take me.
