Is this a reasonable price for a modest build?

I have a working gaming laptop currently, but am looking for something as a hold over for the next few years until hopefully maybe prices stabilize/crash. I am mainly looking to just avoid buying anything in the next 2-3 years and I think my current laptop won't make it that long. I know building a PC is usually the most bang for the buck but I'm not that kind of gamer anymore. Unsure if this is a decent value proposition
