I am making this post to highlight this hypocrisy because *ye moment ke to sad reels nahi banaye jayenge and SM pe articles and essays nahi likhe jayenge.* But hear me out first.

When Salman joked on Tanya's brother weight / belly fat, noticed most of the contestants laughed, **including the oppressed and national-level victim of bodyshaming** \---------- Ashnoor!

LOL How come people who were writing essays on Tanya/Neelam's comments on Ashnoor's were okay with this?

How come this is not being called out now?

Just because it's Tanya's brother?

He was not even a contestant yet Salman unnecessarily joked about his weight/belly. Was that needed?

Now before anyone misses the point of this post, I'd like to clarify that I am talking about the "performative" nature of how this show handled the whole issue.

It blew up because a certain "team" BTS wanted this to be discussed, just to tick a check-box.

I simply hate this **TOKEN ACTIVISM**, especially on shows like Bigg Boss. Because nobody does sh\*\* to actually improve things.

I couldn't care less about Tanya's brother, and I know I am overreacting but listening to "pravachans" on bodyshaming of people like Salman, and reading long essays on SM by PR teams of same people who enjoy Kapil Sharma's comedy is tiring and eye-rolling.

Ashnoor laughing when Salman BODYSHAMED Tanya's brother. LOL
