I feel like a stranger in my own country...
Realistically, i concluded the life blueprint that's expected from everyone to follow isn't for me. Trying to be yourself instead of trying to be fit in some social constructs made by CommieBoomers and young dumpsters here where i live seems to be marked by majority of society as bullshit. To live on my own, to do my best to get better life by education...
No, everyone will tell you just to do some trades or ecommerce, to leave college. And will tell you its not worth doing anything except being fit in the actual market conditions, because we Serbs are most conformist people in the Europe.
CommieBoomers will tell you that politics isnt something that you should care about. These are just "dirty things", so they are naturally possesing power to destroy our lives. And so, since we think we dont have power, ultranationalists and socialists coalition has been destroying economy, culture, nature, life for 35+ years.
There is still stigma present among GenZ that being a virgin in your 20s is a high redflag for girls. If you dont find a first one and fuck something for a start until 25, you are emotionally immature. And also, when westerners are going out even in their 30s-40s, there is still normal that after 25 you practically start feeling like an old person.
I live with parents who think that minimal wage should be equivalent to livable wage (e.g 1000 euros), but electricity bill should be indexed to amounts that used to be common in early 2000s (10-20 euros max).
Since we actually dont have capital markets here in Serbia, most people are investing in real estate, so in Belgrade e.g there is around 200.000 empty flats used as speculative bubble in order to generate profit on higher price. And in fucking Mirijevo sqm costs like 4 median wages. NOT TO MENTION THAT PEOPLE WANT TO TELL YOU THOSE ARE REAL PRICES...
And many other things push me out of my country... Do you actually feel same like me or is it just me?
