What's the point?

So the country we all thought was great is being destroyed as each day goes by. The US is sliding towards authoritarianism and nobody is doing anything about it. And it feels like we'll be worse than places like Turkmenistan and North Korea. When the time comes they start coming for everybody in mass, I refuse to let myself be taken. For I will take my own life. I refuse to be one of their victims. I'd rather be dead than to be wrongfully detained.
