Venting, as a console player

I find it ridiculous and just blatantly unfair that i have an innate disadvantage playing this game as a console player (specifically a ps4). The load times are ATROCIOUS, and there's no way to turn down the ridiculous graphics? It just doesnt make sense to me that theres not even an ioda of graphic settings within the base menu. My loadong times are like 30-40 seconds at the shortest. This really hits hard with the recent burning springs update and the head hunts. I don't want to come off as petulant or spoiled, but damnit i actually want to see the enemies! I want to actually fight them! But instead by the time the buildings have loaded in, the enemies have a) reduced my health to half or below, or just outright knock me down, and b) have already been killed by other players. And no- I cannout afford fallout 1st, especially with the holidays around the corner, so i can't go into a private world. Which would just round back to issue b.
