Just Want a Fresh Level - Slight Rant

I find myself getting put into lobbies that are already started, probably 5:1 vs getting a fresh run. I have not been able to see the new level from the start, even though I have specifically chosen that map three times now. Kinda annoying. Makes me turn the game off, honestly. Am I alone in this matchmaking issue?
