Dog owners: honest question. Would something like this actually be useful?
I’m doing some early market research for a pet product I’m developing, and I need brutally honest feedback from dog owners.
Here’s the issue I’m trying to solve:
Most dog owners bend down to fill their dog’s bowls thousands of times over the years. For older owners or people with back/hip discomfort, this becomes a real daily pain point.
I’m working on a device that automatically raises your dog’s bowls up to your standing height so you don’t have to bend over, then lowers them back down so your dog can eat normally. Think of it like an adjustable feeding stand that moves at the push of a button.
I’m NOT trying to sell anything right now. I just want real feedback from dog owners:
- Would this actually solve a problem you have?
- Do you currently feel discomfort from bending to feed your dog?
- What would make a device like this a “yes” or a “no” for you?
- What price would or wouldn’t you consider reasonable?
- Any dealbreakers or things you'd want it to do?
If anyone is open to giving more feedback, I also set up a short 5-question survey to understand different use cases (completely optional. Helps me a ton).
Thanks in advance! I really appreciate any honest thoughts, positive or negative.
