How long would you give a new role?

Hi all,

I joined my latest company at the end of June. I enjoyed it to start with, however the past couple months have felt like ‘looking under the hood’ and each week gets worse.

I have a couple weeks left before the holidays, however I’m left wondering how long is enough to give a new role enough time? To be clear I wouldn’t leave before the holidays/without another offer in writing in this climate.

To summarise why:

1. There is no management - I have been passed around managers and given no real guidance. A lot of my colleagues experience the same
2. There are no processes - literally nothing in place for ‘how to do X’, which means everyone does it differently and no one likes the end result
3. The people - small team of 10 or so, most hate one another and spend their time stuck in their own dramas.

Curious people’s thoughts on these/their own experiences. For reference I am relatively new to the workforce, with my previous job being a graduate job (stayed just under 2 yrs) - this one is a step up in title. How long would you give a new job?
