I fucking hate Google Gemini

I spent 30 fucking minutes trying to disable this piece of shit intruder in my daily life, and I'm so frustrated that I want to cry.

All I wanted to do was watch fucking MADAGASCAR on the stupid Google TV thing I got my mom last Christmas (streaming is the easiest way for her to watch her shows).

Its got this handy-dandy little feature where you can just search the name of the movie and it pulls results from god-knows-where so you don't have to search through every streaming service which is a problem of its own.

So I search madagascar, and before I get a single result I get slapped with "Set Up Google Gemini :D" and the only button is "Get Started". So I back out anf try again, which worked last time, but same thing. 2, 3, 4 more times I try, same thing.

I search forum to forum for an answer on how to get rid of this pest. Nobody has an answer for me. Google says it can't verify my OWN ACCOUNT. I get no Madagascar, and a horrible taste in my mouth.

I'm so sick of Gemini being crammed down my throat at every turn. You use Google assistant sometimes on a shitty home device you got 6 years ago? Say hello to Gemini. Your couple thousand dollar phone have a useless voice assistant button you keep pressing on accident? Gemini. You own a computer? WELL DADDY'S HOME, SAY HELLO TO GEMINI.

I'm going back to sailing the seven seas and using DVDs. Fuck this noise 🖕🏴‍☠️
