Psu probablu cooked itself?

Hey everyone, i have aorus master 5090 and bequiet straight power 12 1200w platinum. Now, here is the situation: during gaming, the computer turned off, and it smelled like burnt plastic. Tried to turn it on (it took like 30 second to get power). When the computer started, the smell intensified and i turned it off immediately and the fan on the psu didnt turn on. Checked the cable at the gpu, a bit warm, but not hot at all, normal temp. Checked the other end, no visible signs of burning, also a bit warm but not burning hot. The cable seems perfectly fine on either end. Now, the psu - the fan didnt spin. When i took it out, the back of the psu was really hot (the side facing the mobo). Do you think the psu cooked itself? I removed it from the computer immediately, and it smells bad, so my guess is it cooked itself.
