helen (bb15) is overrated, not underrated.

i’ve been rewatching every season since season 2 with my partner (her first watch, i know every seasons winner) and i’m currently in the middle of s15. and as i’m rewatching it (and know what is coming):

• ⁠i am just baffled at how she still thought she’s in that fake alliance that mcrae and andy and was safe (even the week of her eviction!). • ⁠her backpedaling and trying to pin blame on jessie for targeting amanda the week jessie was evicted was cringeworthy. • ⁠every argument she was in that aired on the show, she did the exact same thing: throw her arms up, go “whatever” and try to leave the room.

i’ve seen several things now that have me thinking “what the heck?” because in the years since bb15 i’ve always remembered her being viewed as “underrated” by a lot of people and i just don’t see it. she got extremely cocky extremely fast and she was clueless she was getting evicted even AFTER the veto competition when elissa won and she was clearly going (she was going even before elissa won the veto but still)

am i forgetting something from earlier in the season or not seeing something that was on the feeds? s15 was one of the first ones i was truly tapped into, following the feeds, talking about it on here/twotter, etc. but i feel like she is massively overrated and i haven’t been compelled to say anything like this about anyone else up to this point in my rewatch. feel free to enlighten me or talk about anything regarding past seasons honestly if that’s cool with mods. hope this is formatted correctly and all that jazz as well

edit: she still is the most likable person on the season but im definitely disappointed by her gameplay the second half of her game.
