Is a Gaming PC Worth It Over PS5 + Steam Deck?
Hi, guys!
I’d like to ask for some guidance and share a sincere doubt I’ve been having.
Currently, I own a Steam Deck and a PS5. My original idea was to use the Steam Deck as my main “PC/console,” especially for playing CRPGs and some other genres that work really well on it. Over time, I also realized the huge potential of the Steam library, with many AAA games... although I know that a lot of them don’t run very well on the Deck.
Because of that, I usually end up using the PS5 for heavier games. At the same time, I keep feeling the urge to play AAA games on Steam, use mods, and have everything in a single library, in addition to paying less than on the PlayStation Store.
I even considered selling everything and building a mid-range gaming PC, using Bazzite to have a more console-like experience. But I’m very unsure about it, especially because the portable aspect of the Steam Deck helps me a lot in my daily life, since I can’t spend much time playing on the TV.
I’d really like to know if anyone here has been through something similar or has any advice to share. I truly appreciate any opinions!
