Never done a mythic dungeon. How bad of a time is it to start?

Hi. Prospective WoW player who is interested in Mythic+ but wondering if now might be a terrible time to get into it. I understand the expac is sort of in its winding down phase in preparation for the next.

• I have played WoW before casually in the past prior to when mythic+ was added to the game. I mostly just did casual leveling content and PvP. So I would have basically no score or achievements and would be starting from scratch. I imagine that is tough in regards to getting groups at any point but potentially worse right now? I recently have been playing a ton of Fellowship(a game thats entirely about dungeons) but have seen most of what the game has to offer at this point until its eventual reset. Was looking to try WoW but wondering how annoying it might be to get groups with no experience and starting this late. Any input or advice is appreciated like if maybe trying to play tank could help me out etc(even though i have no idea what im doing).
