Posting this so nobody else gets hit by the same person or tactic. I tried buying a digital concert ticket through a Facebook group, paid via PayPal Goods & Services, and the seller vanished immediately afterward.

Platform: Facebook Messenger
Payment method: PayPal G&S
Ticketing platform: AXS

The seller said he had tickets available, claimed he sold two the day before, and agreed to transfer the ticket to my AXS account after payment. He accepted PayPal G&S and seemed completely normal. As soon as I sent payment and provided my AXS email, he said “one sec, it’s asking me to submit documents”… and then his entire Facebook account disappeared. Everything switched to “This Content Isn’t Available.”

I contacted AXS Support to verify whether any ticket had been transferred, and they confirmed that the only ticket on my account is the one I personally purchased directly from AXS. No transfer was ever initiated from any third party. They also verified my identity and account details.

This was a straightforward Facebook ticket scam. The “submit documents” message was the last thing he said before deleting his account.

What I provided to PayPal as evidence:
	•	Full Messenger conversation showing the agreement and price
	•	My AXS email sent to the seller
	•	His confirmation that he received it
	•	His PayPal email
	•	Screenshot of his Facebook profile disappearing
	•	AXS support chat stating no ticket was ever transferred
	•	My AXS receipt showing the only legitimate ticket on my account
	•	Proof of payment via PayPal Goods & Services

Posting this so others can avoid this scammer and so anyone searching his email has something to reference.

Digital ticket scams on Facebook are happening constantly right now. Always use PayPal Goods & Services for digital transfers and always verify through the ticketing platform.

Stay safe out there.
