low pH cycle help?

I’ve been thinking about going blackwater for a while now, but I know that means acidic and soft water. I think it’d be perfect for my betta, but I have one small problem — how does cycling ammonia work in pH under 6? I know bettas actually like acidic water because it’s natural for them, but I don’t want to break the cycle in any way.

P.S., don’t worry about stability, I’ve been planning to get a new (bigger) tank, make it blackwater, then drip acclimate. (Once I can afford a bigger tank lol)
