weird noise coming from macbook air m2

Hi, I noticed recently a weird, low volume ticking sound (unfortunately too low to pick up on video). when I put pressure on the areas on the sides of the mousepad (pretty much anytime I'm using the mousepad instead of an external mouse, or when typing), I get this noise.

It only happens when the monitor display is angled at what would be considered normal, around 80 degrees. If I change the angle to something not as ideal, it goes away. It also goes away if I were to apply this pressure but hold the display with my other hand. So clearly something mechanical related to the display.

No idea what this could be, but any thoughts?
