First Time Doing IVF (and I’m fat)

I’m just looking for encouragement. After trying to lose weight for months, I just had to go through with IVF at my baseline weight. It just really has changed my feelings about my body hearing about it being a problem to these IVF people all the time.

They retrieved 22 eggs, 16 matured and 11 fertilized. I’ll learn Tuesday how many are going strong.

I wish doctors could know how un-motivating it is to continue to hear about the problem that your body is; when you’d do anything to not have that problem. Do they think anyone would just choose to be overweight long term?
