Airplane travel with special collection boxes.

I see a lot of posts related to airplane travel that mention Cards/Binders/ETB’s/BB’s but I don’t see any mentions of bigger boxes like the Special Collections or UPC’s. I recently traveled to USA to visit family and will be returning to Europe in a week, during which I picked up 4 Moltres UPC’s & 1 Prismatic Evolutions Premium Figure Collection.

I’d like to bring them along on the flight but am a bit scared of checked luggage since especially the Figure Collection and boxes in general can be quite flimsy so a decent risk at the boxes getting messed up. My most preferred way is doing it through carry-on but I’ve seen many posts of people saying their boxes got opened and preferably I’d like to keep them sealed so it’s a scary option. We’ve got one to rip so technically it wouldn’t be too bad if they only opened that one as “proof” but the preference stays since 2 of them aren’t for me.

Any tips or ideas on what I could do to prevent them opening the boxes since they seem to be very likely to not pass the scanner in first instance? It’s a one layover flight aswell so not sure if I have to go through TSA twice. Thanks in advance!
