Starting TRT - Dr wants to wait on HCG... should I ?

As title says, im starting on TRT this week. Dr wants to hold on HCG until appointment in mid January to see how I respond. I think if I push HCG he will just give to me right away. Is there any reason to wait? Im in my 30s and still want more kids so I am fine with starting right away, but fine to hold off if its better to get a TRT baseline before integrating HCG.
