SAMSUNG Odyssey g9 LS49CG954SNXZA overheating

I constantly get the issue where the monitor overheats and starts flickering slowly then into a higher frequency until it finally shuts off. I assume I need to do the thermistor removal trick however for this version I can’t seem to find the thermistor, would anyone have a clue? It’s the sc version I think.
