TDIU Help

Hi I just submitted a claim for TDIU and was curious about backpay. My date I became too disabled to work was in 2021, but the date I became 70% was in 2023 (stubborn pride made me wait). If approved, would be which date would I be backdated to? I assume 2023. Curious if the date difference would cause the date I applied for TDIU to be the date used.
