Guaranteed after certain amount

In the shop the Santa’s surprise present shows the gift berry is guaranteed after opening 75 of them does that only include ones you’ve bought from the shop or is it supposed to be the ones you’ve bought get from actually grinding as well, I’ve opened over 75 and haven’t gotten the seed so was wondering if maybe you had to pay for it to be guaranteed.
