How do you invade the UK as a minor country?

With every update, invading the UK has become more and more of a nightmare. Now with NCNS, I’m now actually lost on how to invade. The old way to do it was pump out a lot of low quality destroyers to get naval supremacy, but the new naval mechanics don’t allow that. It’s no use in trying to build a good navy, as by the time you research and build everything, the US joins and turns the naval nightmare into a naval hell. Your other option is to paradrop, but as a minor, you don’t have an industry capable of out producing the UK.
