Had a dream I was attacked by a skinwalker, hoping to get some insight on it

I had a dream recently about a skinwalker following me and attacking me and I’m really hoping someone can help me gain some more insight on this-

Now I don’t normally read into my dreams too much. A couple times I’ve had a dream that definitely (to me) was more than just a dream it seemed like it was much more. So I don’t read into my dreams too much but this one made me pretty uneasy

I know some of the Native’s lore about skinwalkers , but not a whole lot.

Thanksgiving I spent the night at my parent’s house. In The dream i was on some kind of RV driving down the road and I saw this odd creature running down the road keeping up with the pace of our vehicle. It looked humanoid for sure. I can’t remember all the details but it appeared like a naked, pale,very long legs and arms, hunched over running on all fours. It appeared to have a distorted face of a woman, twisted smile and dark raggedy hair. We made eye contact and I was scared and then it suddenly turned and ran towards an open grass area like a farm and attacked some grazing animals. After a little while, it ran back to the RV, smashed the window and grabbed me by my foot and it even bit my foot in the process. I was helped by other people and I got out of its grasp and it ran off again. I instantly knew this thing was a skinwalker.

Then as we continued down the road the skinwalker woman and another man were on top of some vehicle next to us and just staring into our window with this really menacing presence and twisted smiles. Myself and the other people all ducked under the window and tried to hide from its view and were all scared of this thing.

It wasn’t really nightmare-ish where you feel really scared even after you wake up. It wasn’t like all the feelings and atmosphere of the dream were extremely negative or scary. It was just the entity and the attack that were the scary part.

I feel like this dream could’ve been some kind of warning but I’d really appreciate if anyone can help me understand it some more.

Also I’m a recovering addict, I’ve been sober over a year and it’s been rly great but also after that part of the dream I had relapsed and fighting with my family. And even in the dream I hit a family member because of words we exchanged about the relapse. Or I didn’t relapse and I was accused of it which upset me and made me hit them rly bad. I can’t remember tbh. That part made me more upset than anything else because my Sobriety and family are the most important things in my life.

Just yesterday I was told my parents are planning on getting divorced and my mom had moved out of his house back in April and they hadn’t told anyone yet, and that he had done something she found “egregious” and “unforgivable.” I’m not sure what, she did not want to talk more about those details and I did not ask. So at Thanksgiving I thought everything was fine. I truly had no idea anything was wrong between them. I just was told yesterday about the divorce.

So maybe it was some kind of warning about that news???? Because I’ve never ever had a dream like that about a skinwalker before, and I wasn’t watching or listening to anything about them it wasn’t on my mind at all. Maybe it happened like that bc it was at my parent’s house and because of what’s going on with them??

I don’t know - maybe I’m trying to connect dots that don’t actually connect. I don’t think I’m in any type of danger I do think it’s more of a warning. But I do believe in the skinwalker lore…… even though I am not indigenous I do believe in many supernatural things. So dreaming of this out of nowhere did make me Feel uneasy.

Anyways…. any insight or ideas would be appreciated. Edit: like I said the creature in the dream had bit my foot and I think this part it was scared me the most. Like I was marked by it or something, that was my thought process of it while I was dreaming. Like since it actually made contact with me that I was now in a very bad situation….
