Bead organization

Hey all! I've been doing this for about thirty years, and as a result, my hoard is substantial. I can't just paw through a tool box, hoping to find the tube I'm looking for anymore.

About five years ago, I started using the Elizabeth Ward system, so now I have a shelf unit with several trays full of little boxes. It's wonderful. My biggest quandary is, since I'm now using several different types/sizes of beads, grouping by color alone doesn't seem to be a functional way to do this anymore.

I'm looking for a new system.

How do you guys sort your beads? Please inspire me before I get a permanent twitchy eyelid looking at how ratchet my shit is currently.
