How to open .HEIC.heif files on Mint?

Hello!

I need to open a pic done with an Iphone the images are in .HEIC.heif apparently having double extension, I've installed "Converseen" from the Software Manager or how it would be named in english and when I try to do the conversion it sends me this error:

"Error: converseen: Invalid input: Unspecified: Too many auxiliary image references (2.0)..."

Maybe the error is because the apparently double extension?
