Anyone else noticed a lack of indicators?

I’ll preface this by saying that indication has never been perfect, in any country, but I think it’s gotten worse.

I drive over an hour to work 3-4 days a week, and one thing I have noticed above everything else is how nobody is indicating properly.

It’s especially bad on the M3. The worst are the cars that are changing lanes with no indicator whatsoever- just moving across to the next lane with no warning. What is with this all of a sudden??

Additionally, I’ve started to notice drivers who flick their indicator on for one blink and then switch it off before they’ve even started moving lanes. Why even indicate at that point.

I see this multiple times, daily.

Is this just a Melbourne thing?
