Can someone explain signs someone/i may be lesbian and not bi?
Hi peeps! I’m a 23yo demisexual biromantic, but i have always struggled with my sexual orientation. I have only dated men and have 0 experience with women. I’ve had a girl crush+physical attraction only once, but that’s 9 years ago. I furthermore never interacted much with girls because i feel more at ease around men. Maybe because I’m autistic and appreciate more directness and i have a lot of ‘guy’ interests (engineering, etc)
What makes understanding my sexual orientation extra difficult, is that i have PTSD due to sexual abuse by men. I’ve been with multiple men but it feels like there’s something ‘wrong’ with me despite liking men romantically. In a safe relationship i can feel sexual attraction, but I don’t want to like… interact with ‘it’, and always try to ‘think it’s not really there’ and focus on myself. I don’t understand women who voluntarily would like to just go to bed with men and do ‘all’ the stuff.. I’ve read that having utterly high specific requirements to be physical with a men could be an indicator of being a lesbian and not bisexual. I do not enjoy 🌽 and if anything, i focus on ‘myself’ trying to ignore the man
What do you think? What are more signs that distinguish bisexuality and being lesbian? Or may i just struggle because of the PTSD?
