Tattoos

I’ve been contemplating getting arm tattoos. i’m 24 with keloid scarring but it only has appeared where i’ve had surgery and where ive had traumatic cuts on my knees from when i was a kid playing. only my shoulder surgery has visible keloid scarring where i get injections yearly to reduce their size. i was to know if anybody has ever gotten tattoos here, and where and how their experience with it has been. my dermatologist i talked to said they wouldn’t know unless i tested it with like skin colored ink and i don’t really want to do that. i’ve had nobody to talk to about this topic cause my mother doesn’t have any but she just always said never risk it. she has the condition worse which is if that will just happen when im older or not cause it appears on here even in areas she didn’t have skin trauma at.

the last i would like to do is like idk below the elbow to ensure i stay away from my shoulder where i know my keloids appear at. any thought?
