I tried some glasses on Target's online store and found a light tortoiseshell pair with hints of green. I went into the store and tried them on and they were a beautiful light tortoiseshell with hints of green there as well, which I loved and purchased.

When I went to pick them up, I initially thought they'd ordered black instead of tortoiseshell. After inspecting them a bit more, I thought it must just be a misperception on my part, because they were indeed tortoiseshell and obviously that color won't ever be identical. I hadn't expected they would be, as I've gotten tortoiseshell before and am familiar with the typical variations.

But its been a week and I can't get over the color difference. I took a picture in the same shirt, spot, and lighting as my online try on and they don't look like the same color to me at all. (Granted Target's site appears to have a yellowish auto filter, but the frames were truly the same color in store and online). Would I be crazy for returning or exchanging these? I'm super disappointed and feel like this color isn't flattering on me, or at least not close to how nice the ones I tried on were.

Am I just being dramatic? Also would it be worth it to exchange and see if I can get a pair that are close to the original color?

These are the Ray Ban RB7140 OPTICS.
