Is it normal for me (22f) to have a nightmare about my bf(23m)?
I had a bad nightmare about something that happened months ago (maybe even a year? I don't remember exactly when). The nightmare was a worse version of what actually happened.
So for context, sometimes I faint or get super light headed when I don't eat, when I do a lot of physical activity, when I'm hot, or even just sitting/standing too fast.
He woke me up one night wanting to do stuff, which I'm fine with, I've said before I'm cool with that. It was going fine until he asked me to get on top. I said I was tired and I didnt really want to and kept asking to just keep going how we were. But he kept asking and was like "okay fine well just stop everything then". Honestly I would've been okay with just going back to sleep but he sounded so annoyed I just gave in and did it. Not even 5 seconds later and I already felt light headed and was seeing spots. Honestly I thought about just faking finishing so we could stop but I always told myself I'd never do that. So I kind of just, forced myself to finish, even tho I knew I was gonna pass out. And I did exactly that and fell backwards ok the bed.
This wasn't a first for that, but the first time, it absolutely freaked him out. I remember being out for a good 2 seconds before he violently shook me awake and was panicking. But this time was different.
Im not sure how long I was out for, but I remember being semi conscious (not enough to get up or open my eyes, but enough to hear/feel things around me if that makes sense?) And I could feel him touching between my legs with I think his hand? Before going back out. I woke up hours later. This started late at night and the sunlight is what woke me up. I woke up still naked and in the same position I passed out in, absolutley freezing, while he was up, fully clothed walking around doing whatever. I was just left there.
The situation was upsetting on its own, but also just really scary, because I've never been out that long before. Usually I'm out for maybe 5 seconds max honestly? Maybe it's also because usually when I've passed out someone is there to immediently yell at me and shake me awake? Idk.
I remember crying afterwards and he told me he wouldn't do it again. And it hasn't happened since but idk i just felt gross that it happened in the first place. Is it bad to say I liked it better when he would panic after wards rather than him just leaving me there? I mean i feel terrible making him worry but Jesus at least I felt like he cared or like I was safe or cared for when I'd wake up to him holding me asking if I was okay. All 4 years weve been together hes always seemed really caring or worried when that would happen.
Idk I feel so gross writing any of this. He said he was sorry then and I said it was okay and I didnt really think of it at all after that. Until yesterday when I had a bad dream and was forced to think about it all again. I wonder did I actually forgive and forget or is my brain just repressing it all?? Idk I just felt really sad and gross when I woke up. I also feel kinda dramatic.
Why am I upset over something i thought I moved on from? I meant it when i told him it was okay and I forgave him, so why am I having bad dreams now?
