Trek book gift recommendations?

My parents are both big fans of Star Trek. They've enjoyed almost every series that's come out for it. They raised me on it.

I'm trying to figure out a book for my dad for Christmas that he may enjoy. Looking it up on Indigo, I found 2 possibilities and was hoping someone has possibly read them to give their personal opinions on them.

The first is Star Trek the Oral Illustrated History: The Original Cast and the second is The Star Trek Book New Edition.
