Scared about getting postpartum pre e as well

I was diagnosed with pre e at 36 weeks so quite late in my pregnancy.

I was monitored for a week before I was induced at 37 weeks on the dot. That then lasted 24 hours with the ballon induction, 6 hours of waters being broken & 6 hours on the hormone drip whacked up to max. After all of that I was only 4cm dilated, my bp kept rising so I was given the mag drip and then taken for an emergency c section and gave birth to my baby girl on 28th November.

I stayed in hospital for 5 days post birth with bp monitoring. I’m on x3 Labetalol 200mg a day and x2 nifedipine 20mg a day. My bp managed to come down whilst in hospital to around these figures. 129/75, 126/78, 141/84, 138/84, 137/81, 131/83, 135/81.

I had a midwife come the day after I was discharged which was last Thursday and my blood pressure was 131/91 - she said she wasn’t too concerned etc and booked me in for my 10 day apt.

I have my 10 day midwife appointment tomorrow and I’m so scared that my blood pressure will have increased and I’ll have to go back to hospital and stay in again like be re admitted.

My swelling has come down massively I have ankles again and can remove my wedding ring which I couldn’t before.

I’m so scared that I’m going to end up getting postpartum pre e and have a stroke etc randomly. I know I’m being medicated but I’m so worried that it’ll creep back up and I’ll end up being unwell. I’m not sure how it works as in if you have pre e before birth can you get it again postpartum or is it something to carry’s on - like as in symptoms stay the same or get worse, not disappear and then come back?
