Would it be dumb to put a “jar” soup in bags and inside vases instead?

I have accumulated a large amount of really nice glass vases because I’m naughty and can’t make myself throw away all the waste my job generates 🙃

I was originally going to fill them with decor or bouquets for gifts but that feels wasteful and I’m not very artsy. My other holiday plan had been jar soups so I’m thinking of combining the ideas.

I would buy a few sets of reusable silicon bags, put the soup ingredients in them, then just put the bags loose in the vase.

Would you think this is weird? I need these vases gone, should I just jar my soups like normal and give empty vases?
