Need help with getting a buddy a gift

Hey all I'm trying to gift my buddy and his dad a gift, and he works at HFT and has let me use his employee discount code in the past, if I use his code will he know? Just trying to keep it a surprise.

I'm in Texas if that helps, thanks!
