What are some teaching opportunities I could do next summer?

Help

Hi everyone! Just some backstory on me first. I'm 19 and wanted to study to become a teacher. I got into my dream college and teaching course a few months ago but had to drop out due to a variety of circumstances. I will be taking a different route into teaching now which will take me much longer than the course I got into and will be more years of college, but i've accepted it. Right now i'm taking a gap year to work part time, but I still wanted to stay in some sort of education.

I ended up taking up an Advanced Diploma TEFL course and will get my english teaching degree in a few months which i'm excited about. I'm not sure if i'll take up teaching english as my future career, but it is still a degree under my belt and a teaching degree nontheless that I would like to put into good use at some point. Next summer I'm planning on quitting my job to do some volunteer work before I go into college in September and start my bachelors.

I'd really like to use my TEFL degree next summer, but I'm not sure what I could do. I already live in an English speaking country. I was eager about volunteering to teach english abroad, but even the cheapest programmes are very expensive (€1000+) for even just a week abroad and I wouldn't have that kind of money. Is there any sort of teaching abroad programmes that aren't crazy expensive? Or is there anything I could do in my own country even though its English speaking? I'm not expecting to be paid for anything, and I don't mind spending a bit of money on volunteering. I'm just a bit stuck on how i can use my degree. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
